It seeks to contribute positively to society and the environment by adopting sustainable practices and promoting renewable energy.
Since the early 2000s, Gemini’s goal has been to preserve natural resources, primarily in packaging and paper consumption. An environmental labelling system has also been adopted to provide appropriate instructions for disposal.
Starting 2013, Gemini has been committed to introducing energy-efficient solutions (LED lighting) and promoting employees’ energy saving behaviors to reduce wasteful energy consumption.
In 2022, the company invested in solar energy and installed solar panels on its factory roof to reduce its reliance on non-renewable energy sources.
Between 2022 and 2023, to improve energy efficiency, external wall insulation has been retro-fitted and heat pumps installed.
In 2023, Gemini equipped itself with its first sustainable vehicle in order to reduce emissions from travel-related activities that employees undertake on behalf of the company.
